Pelvic measurement model

The role of the pelvic measurement model is to provide medical students, midwives and obstetric and gynecological medical staff with intuitive and operable teaching tools, helping them master the anatomical structure and measurement techniques of the pelvis.

The model is made based on the anatomical proportions of the human pelvis, clearly showing key areas such as the pubic symphysis, ilium, ischial tuberosity and sacrum. Some models can also simulate soft tissue coverage to enhance the sense of reality.

Trainees can practice measuring the pelvic outlet, inlet and bone diameter on the model, familiarize themselves with the techniques, measurement points and operation sequence, and thereby accurately assess the difficulty of childbirth.

This model supports repeated operations, is risk-free, and can repeatedly correct errors, making it convenient for teachers to demonstrate and assess skills. Through the training of the pelvic measurement model, trainees can not only master anatomical and measurement skills, but also enhance their clinical judgment ability and operational confidence, providing a solid skill foundation for safe delivery management and obstetric emergency rescue.
