Airway Management Model with cricothyrotomy

Detailed description of the model’s functions:

■ Alarm prompt when teeth are compressed due to improper force during tracheal intubation;

■ Training procedures and teaching demonstrations for oral, nasal, and tracheal intubation can be conducted.

■ During training for oral, nasal, and tracheal intubation, the correct insertion of the tube into the airway is guided by electronic displays and musical feedback.

Air is supplied to inflate both lungs, and air is also injected into the balloon in the tube to secure it in place.

■ During training for oral, nasal, and tracheal intubation, if the tube is mistakenly inserted into the esophagus, an electronic display and alarm will trigger. Air supply causes the stomach to expand.

■ During training for oral, nasal, and tracheal intubation, incorrect procedures may cause the laryngoscope to press against the teeth; an electronic alarm is included as a safety feature.

■ Observe and compare the normal pupil on one side with the dilated pupil on the other side.

■ Indicate the site for cricothyrotomy.

■ Tracheostomy can be performed.
